Looking Forward to Phoenix 2019

Yes that's right!  We are headed back to Phoenix in spring of 2019.  Since we have been there done that last spring it should be a lot easier this year.  We are so looking forward to it!  Well.....except for all the driving involved.  We can only go 2-3 hours before we have to stop for a bathroom break and to stretch.   We have nothing definite yet, but I can't wait to take all of you along this year!  If you missed last year you can watch my adVANture 2018 vlog posts on my youtube channel.  We stopped in Fort Sumner, New Mexico at the Billy the Kid Museum and Billy the Kid's Grave, The UFO Museum in Roswell, New Mexico, and the Painted Desert/Petrified Forest.

This year it most likely won't be an adVANture as we don't think our old 94 (I think it is) Ford Van will make it back up and down the mountains a second year n a row.  We are looking into renting a vehicle instead.  That would give us better gas mileage and a more reliable vehicle.  It appears the cost of renting plus gas would cost about what we spend on gas alone last year.  None the less I will keep you updated.

I am going to start adding my handmade crochet items here for sale.  I currently have one item available.  All monies made from the sales will go directly to the trip.  Purchases will be offered a trip perk or two if they choose.

Orange/Black Tunisian Hat WIP

This post contains Amazon Affiliate links

Today I have a tunisian hat wip that I'm working flat.  I am using RedHeart Orange and RedHeart Black.  Quite appropriate for Halloween.  This is one of the many hats (20 in all) that I am making for a local boys shelter for Christmas.  I better get back to work, I have about 15 more to do in the next month.  What's on your hook/needles today?
