A Room With A View

I think Fuzzy likes her new location. Plenty of sunshine and frequent visits from us during the day.

Guess what it did today.......

 If you guessed rain then give yourself a gold star. We still might get a bit more during the night. Flood warnings are back in place once again. I'm thankful we don't live near a river or creek. No yard to flood either. Living downtown has its advantages.

I finished this knit dishcloth/potholder last week I think. Well finished knitting it, tonight I finally got the ends woven in.  The new project I'm working on I'm STILL trying to figure it out. I have started over 7 times now and still not sure I have it right.  I WILL get it figured out sooner or later.

A View From Above

Tuesday night we had storms. I love my view from upstairs.

This weekend we are adding a small slot car track to the arcade. It was the boys but they hardly played with it because we had no room to set it up. If it is popular we are considering making it bigger and more permanent.

This has been our big project lately. We hit a snag in finishing the electric so started this so we could use that area for gaming. Its not completely finished but its almost done. Just a few minor things and then paint it.

Recently I've been trying to improve my knitting. The pattern I was trying to follow must be written incorrectly. A friend has also tried it a few times and had similar problems. I decided to take a break and crochet something and get back to knit later. I'm not giving up I'm determined to get it figured out.

Here is my night time view. I really need to get some curtains for the bottom half of the windows. I'm paranoid anyone in the buildings across the street can see in. This works for now. Thankfully just offices directly across from us. 

Yesterday

Interesting feature my phone has.  Yesterday I took several pictures of the flooded rivers in the area.  I also took a picture of my current knit project and the project at the castle (the stairs). Lastly a picture of Fuzzy's play toy ON MY BED!  Yes it was still alive.  She didn't kill it, it was still there, probably scared nearly to death.

I've been taking pictures today too.  Maybe my phone will offer the same thing tomorrow.

Test Post from my Phone

It looks like it will work.  I've tried the blogger app for android and it won't allow me to upload pictures.  What's a post without at least one picture?  So I decided to try the Chrome app, which I use anyway because I can link and open tabs and bookmarks from desktop.   In the past I didn't have much luck because my mobile didn't have compatible java. This time it works. Maybe it won't be as long in between posts now. No promises but I'll try.

The weather in my neck of the woods:
We do have a river flood warning, but we are far enough from the river it doesn't directly affect us right now.  The temperature isn't  too bad today.  There is a nice breeze too.  Here is what's to come though:  Look at those possible stormy days.
