In the Yard

Yesterday I found these interesting things in my yard

A lonely purple flower which looks like a crocus.  A friend of mine said it is possible, even though it's fall.  She said others have had spring flowers coming up and blooming again as well.

2 turtles hanging out in the leaves and sticks at the side of the house.

Honey bees?  They were all over this Coke can.....and not a single one in/around the Diet Coke can not too far away.   Maybe we could learn a few things from the bees?  Diet drinks are not good?  This is in the dumpster we have for the roof trash.  Hopefully soon I can show you my new roof.  we knew it was bad and leaked, but didn't realize it was as bad as it was.

Sunrise

Something I hardly ever see is the sunrise.  Daylight savings is late this year and I can handle a sunrise about 7:45 am.

Some Fall Colour

Hubby just bought me a new smart phone.  For now we aren't putting it on a plan, but it has a MUCH better camera than the dumb phone I am currently using.  I am so excited to have another "pocket camera".  Here are some fall colour pictures from my yard this morning.  Much of it is still green, but the colour is coming, slowly.

Almost Time to Retire

I got some new shoes a couple weeks ago.  As you can see it's almost time to retire these.  I got them back in May.  They have served me well.  I will soon be replacing them with my new ones.

Fuzzy got it right this time

Fuzzy got it right this time. Glad the present was left in the bathroom by the toilet. Probably the only place she knew we would see it first thing in the morning. lol
