Finished Knit Pinwheel Washcloth and Apology

I finished the Knit Pinwheel Washcloth I shared in a video post a couple weeks back.  This is a FREE Ravelry Download at the time of this post.

This pattern was a bit of a challenge for me.  It was "misplaced" in the craft room for who knows how long.  I found the project while deciding whether to frog or finish things in a pile or random yarn and other things.  This was the only project that made the "finish" category.  I am super excited to have it finished.  Here is my final product, minus the unwoven in ends.  Let me know what you think.  I am slowly working on my knit skills.  Skills besides simple in the round hats LOL.

Also I want to apologize for some missing content on some posts the past week.  I think I have that all sorted out and the posts should be complete now.  I was trying to create blog posts on my phone and tablet, both of which are a little out of date, but still can perform most of what is necessary, while on vacation.  Apparently posting to blogger isn't one of those "necessary" things. LOL  Back home with my computer I can now post, and make sure posts are complete.  ๐Ÿ’™

That being said, I can't wait to share my next knit project with you.  It is a hat.........but I am working it flat.  Gonna learn to seam up flat things.  Why flat you may ask?  Be watching for that post and I will tell you.

Thanks for stopping by. ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿงถ

I Got a New Yarn Bowl

One of my uncles made me this beautiful bowl for my yarn/WIPs.

It is made from cedar. Cedar is one of my favorite woods. He asked if I wanted to smell it or have it sealed. Honestly wanted to smell it but didn’t think projects I would be donating should smell like cedar, so I asked for it to be sealed.

It is big enough to hold 2 of the 7oz skeins of yarn.  Just the perfect size.

The yarn in the bowl is Big Twist Rainbow Bright. I purchased it for a special project. It isn’t the color I was really wanting but it’s what Joann’s had. Be watching for updates on this project. ♥️

Been Making Kitty Cat Squares

Welcome ๐Ÿค— I have a written post today instead of a video ๐Ÿ˜. I have been making kitty cat squares.

What am I going to do with them? That I haven’t decided yet. I have 4 made and 1 in the works with plans to make more.

My base color for all of them is Loops & Threads Off White.

The other colors I have used are Craftsmart Bisque and Loops & Threads Mint. I am using a “G” hook.

Interested in this pattern? You can find it here at Devine Debris

Tunisian Thursday ~ Is It Possible to Knit a Flat Piece without a Return Stitch?

I will let you decide. Does it look harder or easier to “knit” this way? In the round i say definitely yes its easier but haven’t decided, myself, with flat.  Leave me a Comment and let me know your thoughts. ♥️๐Ÿงถ

Frog It or Finish It

Join me as I go through a crate of tangled unfinished yarny projects. There's a bunch. How many will I keep to finish? I also find some forgotten treasures in the bottom.

Go On An Auto Unlock Call With Us

Rattle along with us down a country grave road, in SE Kansas, and get lost on the way to unlock a vehicle. Honestly this vehicle was an easy peasy one. They don’t always go this easy. But after 25 years of practice they do seem to cooperate much easier than they used to ๐Ÿ˜‚

I must also say this was much enjoyable for me as I hardly leave town for the county. Deer, wild turkeys, cows, trees, water……..very relaxing and enjoyable ♥️
