The weather in my neck of the woods:
Summertime has arrived!
Things that make me happy:
Sunshine! Walking in it, Standing in it, Absorbing it.
Menu for this week:
have corn dogs, bologna and jalapeno & cheddar sausages for lunches.
Suppers I want to make some more sweet & sour chicken, and some crockpot creamed corn. Maybe another loaf of pizza bread. I may need to go to the store again this week.
What's on my TV today:
Nothing today, I may watch some YouTube videos or a movie later this week.
Looking around the house:
Other than the few spots I need to clean because the cat threw up, it's not too bad right now.
On my To Do List:
Laundry tonight! Paint (unless hubby gets it all finished today), and maybe go to the gym.
New Recipe I tried or want to try soon:
Not sure, I've been pinning a lot of yummy ideas on Pinterest lately. I also want to get my dehydrator cleaned up and use it some too.
In the craft basket:
I'm still working on the afghan for my sister. I've also been making some potholders. Some for me and some to sell.
Looking forward to this week:
I'm not sure. Friday nights are fun at the castle. It's Game Night with the "Young Adults".
Tips and Tricks:
Blackout curtains are great, but they need to be on the inside of the curtains. I moved mine inside a week or so back and it did make it cooler BUT I have also since started putting a sheet of foam insulation in the windows in the mornings before I leave, and that helps even more to help keep the heat down.

take a day off or not take a day off. Mondays are a slower day and believe me we could use another day away
